They’re making a sequel to What We Do in the Shadows called We’re Wolves! Eventually. Maybe. Until then, Deeby’s got an idea for a spinoff:
Here’s what I’ve got for you this week:
- This is the trailer for Hunt For the Wilderpeople, Taika Waititi’s latest release. The film follows a city kid who’s sent to live with foster parents in the countryside before becoming a fugitive with his foster uncle, played by Sam Neill.
- Our stand out character from Shadows, Stu, was played by a guy named Stu, who actually works in IT. He did not expect to have such a big role – especially in front of the camera – in the film.
- Taika Waititi is directing the next Thor film, Thor Ragnarok. For San Diego Comic Con, Waititi directed a short documentary-style film taking place during the events of Captain America: Civil War. In the short, Thor has moved to Australia and is living with a mortal called Darryl, who may or may not make an appearance in the feature film. Ragnarok is in cinemas October 27th 2017.
- I stumbled upon a website about/for “real vampires” during my research. There is a page about what facts about vampires are actually facts, myths, or simply an extreme exaggeration. According to the site, vampires don’t sleep in coffins, they sleep in beds like everyone else. What an eye-opener.
That’s all I’ve got for this week. I’m pitching next week, and I may be doing an extreme exaggeration of my own. If you like the Beatles, you might like it.
